The submental fat is targeted, and the surrounding skin and tissue are not damaged whatsoever. You may experience a slight burning sensation; this is totally normal.
Overall the treatment takes about an hour. Afterwards, you will see swelling in the area, which dissipates within about one week. Everyone is different, and some may need two or three treatments for maximum effectiveness.
